I was already primed for disgust, so it was inevitable really. xpuncturedbicyclehttp://www.outrightingrate.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128583729281346797.post-30903063234182582062010-09-25T06:04:33.400+01:002010-09-25T06:04:33.400+01:00Ah yes, the heat causes the odors of NYC to become...Ah yes, the heat causes the odors of NYC to become more pungent and pronounced. Perhaps you should only come to NYC in the cold weather when such smells are dampened down a bit.Kelly T Keatinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02785250600894226846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128583729281346797.post-9999838438813603092010-09-24T16:38:24.570+01:002010-09-24T16:38:24.570+01:00Thanks folks!

I am frantically researching if there is a way to clean my stuff - just what I brought to NYC - before I bring it in the house. Most of my clothes have had the hot dryer treatment and everything else is in plastic bags. Uuuurgh.

BTB - In Jedi-like fashion I have studied and followed your drink-and-money method of enjoying NYC but was possibly hampered by a sick tum. I think the real problem is that Grandma has to learn how to move on. I misspent much of my youth in the East Village, but that city isn't there anymore. (Um, there's this rumour that in New York? stuff changes? My recent visits continue to confirm that it is no longer the 80s.)

SF on the other hand is - to me - a tabula utterly rasa (and seems super-loveable), so I'm happy to give it a go! I'll text you when my flight lands. You're free now, right?puncturedbicyclehttp://www.outrightingrate.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128583729281346797.post-5049946528436155312010-09-24T00:56:10.366+01:002010-09-24T00:56:10.366+01:00New York is an acquired taste. I disliked it the first couple times I went. This time I drank a lot and spent an obscene amount of money, and I found it quite lovely. Next time come to SF. I will get you from the airport and spirit you away to the suburbs.bitethebedbugshttp://www.bitethebedbugs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4128583729281346797.post-28628112137543935842010-09-20T12:09:19.467+01:002010-09-20T12:09:19.467+01:00Glad to have you back!
